Stewardship, “the careful and responsible management of something entrusted to one’s care,” is an act we all share.

The early landowners who preserved the land around the lake for the enjoyment of generations to come and the hundreds of volunteers, members and donors who have supported the CLC with their time and money over the past 50+ years are all stewards of this special place. Please consider becoming a steward yourself—you can help in many ways.

Donate

Members sustain our work year in and year out. As a CLC member, you join a committed group of people who care deeply about preserving the beauty of the Chocorua Lake Basin and ensuring continued free public access for thousands of annual visitors.

Volunteer

We have many volunteer opportunities, from helping out on Stewardship Days to becoming a property monitor to committee or office work to helping at events. Volunteers make our work possible!
