Position Overview: Chocorua Lake Conservancy (CLC) seeks a full-time Seasonal Land Steward to assist with the annual monitoring of 94 properties in the Chocorua Lake Basin protected by conservation restrictions and management of 17 conservation properties.

The primary task of the Seasonal Land Steward will be to assist in the implementation of CLC’s stewardship program through the completion of annual monitoring visits to conserved lands and basic land management tasks. Successful candidates will receive a thorough understanding of the role conservation restrictions play in natural resources protection, the importance of a strong stewardship program, best practices for easement monitoring and landowner relationships, and best practices for land management. The Seasonal Land Steward works under the supervision of the Stewardship Director.

This position is seasonal with a desired work period between May and October 2024. Exact dates are flexible depending on the availability of the successful candidate. A total of 20 to 25 weeks is desired. This is a full-time temporary position.
