Calling local folks in your 20s or 30s!
Interested in what goes into maintaining the beautiful outdoor places we are so lucky to enjoy in this region? Curious about land conservation and stewardship? Want to meet other young people who enjoy time outdoors and giving back to the natural world that sustains us?
On Thursday, November 13 from 5:30–7:30 PM, join Chocorua Lake Conservancy for a Next Gen for Conservation meetup at the Hayloft, Hobbs Tavern, 2415 White Mountain Hwy 2nd Floor, in West Ossipee, NH. Come meet other folks interested in outdoor recreation and land conservation and learn about volunteer opportunities with CLC, connect over the beautiful spaces we call home, and enjoy some pizza on us. Sign up above to let us know you are coming, or just show up!
For generations, volunteers in our community have taken action to protect ecological health and create publicly-accessible natural spaces throughout the Mount Washington Valley and Saco watershed. Today, we face new and complex challenges, including climate change. Proactive and continuous efforts are needed to ensure that these beautiful spaces thrive for generations to come. Come have a drink with us and hear how you can get involved, including: taking photos, clearing trails, serving on a committee, watering plantings, or planning an event!
