Group Fun Run

  • CLC Scott Reserve & TNC Bolles Reserve Scott Road Chocorua, NH 03817 United States (map)

Beautiful woods trails + getting your heart rate up + community = a sweet conclusion to the lovely month of June.

On Thursday, June 30 at 6PM, join the Chocorua Lake Conservancy for a group run with Kristina Folcik and Rem Stone of White Mountain Endurance Races through the diverse habitats of the CLC Scott Reserve and The Nature Conservancy Bolles Reserve in Chocorua, NH. We will run three to four miles as a group and will have a no-drop policy. This will be a fun run where we talk about trail running and answer any questions people may have. We will talk about the importance of Leave No Trace and being good land stewards. If we are lucky we will get to see local wildlife! Weather permitting, we can take a dip in Chocorua Lake afterward to cool down. This is a social run where we can enjoy the company of others while enjoying the outdoors. All abilities are welcome to join! Wear appropriate running shoes and dress for the weather. Be prepared for insects and ticks, just in case. Space is limited; please register in advance below.

Kristina Folcik is a mountain/ultra runner and founded Rockhopper Races LLC in 2018, now White Mountain Endurance Races. Her goal is to create an atmosphere that is welcoming to all abilities from the back-of-the-pack runner to the speedsters dueling for the win. She is also passionate about educating runners on Leave No Trace Ethics, Wilderness First Aid and being good stewards for the trail/mountain running community. Kristina loves to have fun and brings a playful attitude to running and racing.

Rem Stone is Race Director for White Mountain Endurance Races. Rem is a mountain/ultra runner who is passionate about the community and wants to bring an amazing experience to everyone. He strives to make the running community inclusive and focuses on being a good trail steward.
