Fresh air! Free workout! Friends! Come spend a morning in a beautiful place stewarding land with us.
Please join Chocorua Lake Conservancy on Monday, October 19, 12–2 PM, for an outdoor volunteer afternoon at Moose Meadows on Route 16 just south of Stoney Brooke Sawyers. We’ll be cleaning up the edge of the woods after the field has been mowed.
Bring work gloves and a shovel, hand saw, and/or long-handled clippers if you have them, water and a snack, and please wear sturdy, close-toed shoes. We will have some tools available if needed. Be prepared for bugs and ticks just in case. Feel free to come for all or some of the morning. We’ll meet at the entrance to the field—you can pull into the field by the tree with CLC and NRCS signs on it. Please register in advance so that we can let you know of any changes in the schedule.
